Welcome to EM...

The xA looks to be a great platform to start out on the quest for better mileage.

Enjoy the site, and Best FE to ya...

Hello and welcome to the site. What kind of mileage are you getting in the xA now? I'm very curious as I kind of have the bigger brother to your xA, a Toyota Matrix.

Wow - first xA owner I've seen sign up at any fuel economy forum (that I can remember).

Canada had the same platform (2 & 4 door hatch) when it was still called the Echo. Different sheet metal, but same drivetrain. I always thought they'd have good MPG potential.

I average anywhere from 25-30mpg, depending on how I drive her, and ofcourse, the great Oklahoma winds!

Not to many of us out there period, seems to be the one model Scion came out with that not to many ppl found attractive I guess! With a little work, they can be really slick looking rides!

What Kind of subs you have in there? and how many watts? (peak or RMS?) I've always liked black on black, and my favorite rims are black w/ chrome lip.
