Ford:
Of the 8.5B, *only* 1b was cash, about 1 month of operation operation.
The supply of Focus and HEV escape were tapped. Couldn't make any more to sell.
That will change.

I believe that about 10% of households in the U S of A enjoys millionaire status. About 20% is worth at least a half million.

To a very large total number of people FE likely means nothing. You only go around once so why bother yourself to conserve if there is no way you are going to spend it all in the first place.

I can't believe you guys finally caught me, found my truck

lol

Seriously; there are quite a few of the International CXT's around here pulling horse trailers. It truly frustrates me. I'm looking for my pics from SEMA; but I can't find them.

Wow, that truck looks like it was built to go to war moreso than the Hummer.

Okay, these vehicles might not be as offensive as the first one that I showed you, but I don't think they are improving their economy any. More than that though, I just think that if I had the budget that some of these cars required, I would prolly spend it a little differently... Maybe I'd pay for a couple years worth of gas for my truck. Maybe I would have some really advanced and professional looking mods, including a 2.4L diesel conversion. Maybe I'd just go get a Smart or a Yaris or something like that.

Then there's this guy... I don't know what cost him more, the gas or the tires.

It had been a few months since riding in a relatives tractor trailer, this was the bill for 137 gallons.

but as many hypermilers know to figure mileage, some forget that there is 40 tons on the 5-6mpg and houses getting built with lumber delivered. "Trucks make the world go round", so it is not all that much a shock...unless it is for some crazy guy and his turbo diesel hick dodge pickup gone mad, driving around by themself, hillbilly stacks and lucky to haul 10000 pounds without breaking something...those are the repulsive ones.
