Yea, the old OBDIIC&C cases for the insight were made of ABS, they warped REALLY badly. I may have to paint my shifter knob white at some point to try and counter-act this. Anyway, I just got mine! Sweet! Thanks Doax for pre-painting it for me!

Question. Which button does what? I can tell the middle is my toggle for the kill switch, but what about the other two? One is normally open and the other is normally closed correct?

The way I had him set mine up is:

Thumb button is a momentary for the kill switch
Center button is a pop-up for the clutch override, that's the only toggle you need
Right button is a momentary for brake regen

I assume he made all the Insight shifters with this pattern

I installed my shifter knob a few days ago, and I love it, but I have one complaint. My brake regen button keeps getting stuck in the on position. It almost got me in 2 accidents, but I love the shifter knob so much I don't want to take it off hahaha.

Volt meter will tell you which one is open or closed momentary, Balto. Just got mine, haven't put it on yet or started to wire up stuff. Gonna test placement of buttons first to make sure I won't either accidently while driving.

Thanks Tim, great little piece

I'm still tweaking clearances and stuff on the knobs as I go (remember, I still don't even have mine installed, so I haven't had any real good trouble shooting time). I'd recommend backing the screws off just a touch. Sometimes, if they're too tight the buttons bind. I tried to get them all working great before shipment, but some are just finicky. Also, the switch for the regen button has a very weak spring in it, so it doesn't push the button out as easily as the others.

Alright I'll try that, I really do love this knob though haha, it works so great!
