I can't get over how well thought out this is, styling wise. If it had a wrap around windshield and integrated fenders I could see it actually being pretty low-Cd!
^ Terrasson, Cyclope, TPV. I am in love with the Terrasson and TPV, but the Cyclope (which lead to the production model) is the most aero-looking. I am probably the only person in the world that thinks the production 2CV was over-designed.
DS styling model. Less Kamm effect here- a conservative approach.

Too bad for that roofline flip

I know it's hunkered on its suspension but look at the roofline of the racing SM in this shot:
I have to ask: was the racing version still FWD? Because race car.

The Wiki page suggests it was still FWD. I mean, it's Citroen, right? They'd be crazy to do anything else!
The DS bread van is also neat, but likely significantly less aero. Too much roof angle.

Agreed w/Sven; the Escargot looks so refined and so right that Citroen really missed out by not offering that version OEM!

Let's be real, you could have just said, "I mean, it's Citroen, right? They'd be crazy." and left it that. Because it's Citroen.
"Sinking outside of zee box? Qu'est-ce que ce, zees box of wheech you speak? We know of no boxes."
Also: the GM Futurliner is possibly the most amazing demonstration of art deco design applied to automotive anything, absolutely gorgeous. Nerve wracking to a driver approaching an overpass, but hey.

Referring to Rednecks post from previous page on the Intrepid ESX series concepts: How did Chrysler not build these and instead continued building crappy 2.4L I4 and 2.7L V6 with gimped trannys that couldn't manage more than 28 MPG (Stratus et al)
