I was looking into metalshaping and came across this car :
Have a look at what this guy is building from scratch :

This is the original rendering :
Not very aero, just swoopy, but I still love the looks of it since it reminds me of the old 1940s Mecedes aero designs !
Here is the thread : Scratch build Art Deco Roadster - All MetalShaping

I love what this guy did with this one - who would have thought to ecomod an old Mopar, but this guy did and pulled it off in a grand way, but he "has his cake and eats it too", since the car is fast too.
I wonder what his mileage is.
Grille block, air dam, vortex generators, vents, etc etc - and its a 6 cylinder car too.
Just a car guy : Most outstanding car at the Mopars at the Strip 2012 drag racing and car show event

Nice old Valiant!
It's awesome he's taking it to the strip with the Slant aboard. That's hard core.
He might pick up a tenth if he covered his wheels, look how deep those dishes are.

Potentially aerodynamic ( though a lot would have to be done to smooth it all out - mainly front wheel skirts/pants and added glass for the windows.):
The sides taper in :
Wicked looking car !

That Citroen's rear suspension is pretty distinctive, just look for those unusual trailing arms that suspend the wheels.
That also makes the 2CV a popular three-wheeler conversion, lop off one arm and toss it, and flip the other one around. With just a little bit of modest jiggering you get the remaining wheel centered with stock components.

The unbearably handsome, cold formed wooden bodied Tryane II (strictly homebrew)
