If you google image search Panhard LM64 there are loads of images of that car. It was sold recently I think. There was a previous Panhard LM car which looks a little like a Porsche 356.

If you also google "Index of volumetric efficiency" and "le mans" there are a load of small engined and slippery cars designed to compete in that now, sadly, removed class of endurance racing.
