I need to point out that they did an incredible job at getting the cooling system so low in drag. Check out the slot vent on the hood, and the side vents above and behind the front wheels. These are both actually improving the drag AND getting the engine cooled with far less intake.

I have never seen this anywhere else, except on race cars.

I think the Cd they got, back in the day, of the Maybach was 0.16. Which is probably low. The same wind tunnel got 0.13 for the Pillbug, which VW tested to be 0.18. So the Maybach would be ~0.21.
