No need to mess up your current tank !
I was thinking that the next time that you fill up, you might could re-run a short distance A-B-A-B test, and then just fill up again and start the new tank.
No need to do a long distance test since you have your MPG meter. A test like MetroMPG does with his testing would be cool. ( B.T.W. Does your car have cruise control ? )
I think a lot of non eco-mod people that learn about our methods would attribute it to "driving down a mountain with the engine off ."
A test of aerodynamics done while driving 'normally' might be a good way to convince people.

I'll tell you what bro...every month I pay my car loan I appreciate more and more what guys like you are doing to get max mpg. Super impressed with your design. Not that I regret getting my Prius because I love it but when I see the numbers guys are getting on here with their own mod designs I get jealous of your skills as I am not as wrench smart as most on here.
Congrats on a successful mod and best of luck pushing your mpg's higher and higher!

That's a decent improvement. Happy to see someone else taking the Kammback route.

Then save your pennies and look into one of those aftermarket aero-kits for your Prius. I wish we all had that as an option!
Look at me, spending someone else's money again, .

Some good points. No cruise control here. I'll report to you on my fast, non p&g, a/c on highway numbers soon.
I probably won't do any more A-B-A, but I have like five 70 mph highway only tanks from this summer in "B" configuration, so it should show up.

Very good work and thanks a lot for the tests.
4 mpg out of 51 mpg is a lot for a single mod : 7% less power needed.
This makes me wanting to be at home with a full after-noon free time and no wind to make my coast down testing between with & without rear wheel skirts & uglyback. Hope I will be able to show such an improvement...
Denis.
