I mean the shape of the caps themselves, they're too long in a row of 6 to fit in my battery area.

Hah, I get it now. For some reason I was envisioning my 3 in one row, 2 in another row setup using my 2.85v caps.

The capacitors may not appreciate the heat in the engine bay for their longevity. For the caps in the engine bay, a fellow member had suggested adding 2 hoses to the battery box. One leading to the front of the car and the other leading to the intake. That way the battery compartment is cooled when the engine is running with a constant flow of ambient air. This will obviously not help heat soak when the engine is stopped so insulation may be in order.

Mine are living in the rear driver wheel well, that's where my "battery box" is.

Not as pretty as when it shipped:

Next to my lithium battery:

Supercapacitors tucked into my spare well:

Lithium battery had to move to the back, these caps are BIG! They nearly fill the footprint of the original 12v battery.

I'd say the 400F caps were entirely inadequate for starting the car, but these caps are huge. Probably an ideal size for my car would be ~1200-1600F. On the flip side, the starter really cranks now.

Sweet! Make darn sure those caps don't ground out on anything even by rubbing through insulation. They will spot weld in an instant.

If they are genuine that is a real bargain!

Looks like it, and looks like it. They're behaving as I'd expect.
