Indeed, it's a great time to learn. You can make the shape you want with chicken wire, pull it out, put packing tape over the side you won't see of it, and lay your glass over the packing tape. That will give you a smooth inside finish. Don't forget to lay in whatever fasteners you need, as well, for the lid/lights, etc.
I helped a guy do a set for a 240SX (pig nose) similar to this, but with normal round lights.

what do you guys suggest for the rear deck? looks good till there for that windstream down the back of the car.
maybe a "prostock" like extension... I am prepared to learn any skill I need here. inspire me.

Didn't somebody on here take their flip-up lights, chop off the front bit of the cover, and put some early 90's Grand Prix lights in there?

this method is longer but will look more "finished" but will be
maybe I'll have my write up make the 65+ mods page!

did a little work today
template for the bucket
fitment with more measuring... cut once right?
another view
going to build these out of lexan and it will be a bolt in affair...
looks like this has turned into a headlight thread... so be it.
need some dot approved 4 inch round headlights is anybody has a link!

Go to Wally World, man. Or any parts store. They have D.O.T. fog lights and driving lights, you just aim each one separately for lows and highs.
Wire them so that they're both on for highs, though, unless you plan on using separate driving/fog lights.

BTW - those buckets are going to look sweet.
Also - Cut once only applies if you can't glue/tape it back together...
