Those are issues not germane to a low drag IONIQ.

If so, that's 1982 technology, Pontiac Division of General Motors applied to their next generation Firebird Trans Am. Something like a 4-count drag reduction.
Cardboard and duct tape would tell you what they'd do for you on the IONIQ.
I did it to Spindletop, SPIRIT, and Baby.
The belly pan runs flush to their bottom. All the way around the vehicle, including the diffuser.
I'm surprised Hyundai hasn't done that already.

I doubt I could see any aero difference when testing the super small side skirts though, even doing the cardboard and duct tape thing I doubt I’d be able to measure any difference. The after market side skirts seem like it doesn’t hurt or improve aero and are just for looks, as long as you don’t have them sticking out super far
I’m currently playing around with cardboard to figure out a good length and shape for my rear diffuser where they rear wheel spats blend into it before I pull the plug and by a huge abs plastic sheet to make the permanent diffuser.

Did 95 mile gold panning round trip to the river. 85-90 degrees outside with ac on at lowest fan speed but chilliest setting. Speed was fluctuating between 50-60 mph, with curves and constant stop signs every few miles in the farm land, with first and last quarter of driving on the interstate. With mirror removal and the rear wheel spats bolted on, I averaged 72 mpg. That’s with a slight shredded up front under tray. No wind outside
Mostly moderate highway driving and around 70 miles per gallon with the AC on is definitely not something to complain about. Can’t wait to fabricate more aero mods!

update, even with ac running, city mpg is all over the place but definitely improved. some trips read out at 82,mpg, some 99.9 mpg, and the lowest and worst trip being 66 mpg. these are all with the side mirrors back on too btw, only focused on wheel spats.
biggest thing is i can FEEL a difference with them on and off. the car feels slippery, less pull or suction or turbulance when driving. pedal doesnt need to be pushed as far down. its hard to explain the muscle memory, but you can for sure feel a difference when driving. ive taken them on and off several times.
doing 250 mile MOSTLY interstate drive round trip down to quartzville creek tuesday. hoping to get a longer mile sample size at just only interstate speed driving with the wheel spats. hypermiling at city speeds or on back country farm roads at 55mph or less isnt giving me a hard clear number, so i will report back!

Hyundai high performance
I considered purchasing a Hyundai/ Kia product, but no more, and it's because of this car.
And I'd never, now recommend their products to anyone I know.
