I don't know if you can get prepreg woven glass, diolen or other fibres but it would be very convenient and alot cheaper, all the air gets taken out for you. It does have a shelf life I think. For the spats you most likely would have needed two metres, keep quite a few offcuts for strengthening or another part. Also glass and polyester fibres won't corrode with any steel parts like carbon
Although I've not witnessed it on stuff I've bolted so far..

rear fender skirts are officially bolted on and good to go. just need to do the paint job
any thoughts on adding these to help prevent air from going under the sides of the car and help channel it towards the fender skirts? also the little winglet at the end can help cover the cosmetic imperfection of the bend and hard edge of the front of the skirt lol

rocker panel extensions
They would be configured to blend right into the belly pan and skirts, also forming part of the sides of the wheel fairings, before and after the rear wheels.
Ford Motor Company testing of the Probe-IV and V indicated no value for wheel fairings behind the front wheels.
The Home Depot has a selection of aluminum roof flashing which would work as well as the advertised materials you've shown.
3M markets a commercial automotive adhesive, available only at automotive refinishing supply houses, where your local body shop gets their supplies.
This adhesive is what body shops use to bond 'ground effects' kits. A few pop-rivets hold the composite pieces in place until cured, then the rivets are drilled out, and the holes sealed and smoothed.
Viking's axle fairing is permanently bonded with this 3M product.

Personally, I'd recommend just blending the rockers into the skirts, and after the skirts, into the sides of the future diffuser. As smooth as possible. Old school.

only Jimmy rolled the metal over three sides and left the bottom folded in. The center brace is also just the way Jimmy did it, complete with the design of the swing arm which held them against the body. Jimmy's skirts had a bracket on the bottom edge front and rear. These varied with the different applications.

Well I have this little lip on the front leading edge of the skirts. Looks ugly. Really hard to get it flush. Was just going to use one of those winglets to cover it up cosmetically, and also to help keep any side flow air front dipping into the bottom of the wheel area and slightly guide the air towards the wheel spat

They're 'sexy'. So far though, no low drag automobile design has deemed them worthy of inclusion.
Wolf H. Hucho's been adamant about not introducing pressure spikes.
On an INDYCAR with a Cd over 1.0 they'd be beneficial for stability and cornering force.
Those are issues not germane to a low drag IONIQ.

Well is there a cosmetic way to cover up the attachment point without hurting drag besides the side skirt and winglet route I mentioned?
