this should be pretty much identical to my 300d Benz powered 2000 s10 blazer..

2000 Turbo Diesel Blazer Benz mash up thread - Blazer Forum - Chevy Blazer Forums

OM617 powered 2000 Chevy Blaser 4x4 build thread - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

Was pretty simple, worked out really well. My second part of this conversion is to do a dual tank SVO setup.. just got the diesel conversion done before winter set in. Put a few thousand miles under dino diesel on it with no problems before winter set in.

The donar diesel drive train was previously a SVO setup in the benz.. but rust did it in body wise.

It did. Not sure which one, though. Probably the same engine that was available in the Diesel Chevette (1.8?)

ebacherville, thank for posting those links to your project.

I searched the whole internet a while back for something as similar and couldn't find a darn thing!

I just breezed through all your project postings and got some good ideas/concerns that will need to be addressed.

Here's what I have been doing lately:

I used the entire benz engine and tranny.. didnt want to mess around with trany adaption and the benz trannies are pretty good.. All i had to do was get a custom drive shaft made and that was that..

My project was about making the best I could with what I had ( a rusted out 300d) for the least cash.. have about 1k into my build and that includes the rust free 2000 blazer I did the swap into.
