Looking good!
I would be thinking you'll need a frame of some kind, I would not think the unibody cut up like that will be sufficiently strong, it loses all its integrity that gives it the strength without a frame.
If you ditch the back doors, how will the rear person get in/out?

that is what tilt seats are for! They can crawl in the back. I am sure if they are willing to ride in it they won't mind crawling back there. I like the idea. Skinnier is better, less total frontal area.

Unless you're looking to duplicate it, it will save having to build the molds.
The foam also adds some impact proteection.
Ive been looking for thin bendable foam that styrene wont eat, havent found some yet

A four door has smaller doors that don't allow much room to crawl behind the front seats. I would leave both front and rear doors on the "passenger" side, and eliminate both doors on the drivers side.
Actually, leave the drivers door in front, passenger door in back.

I was liking the project till those photoshop picture...eek

THINK Morgan

V shape the hood wider in back narrow in front slope it as much as you can... The car is narrowed so fender flare the wheel wells no need to bullet the nose slope it back and incorporate a nice angle to deflect the wind back almost 30 degrees or as much as the car allows use an angled grill that scoops air up low and cuts it giving it a better aerodynamics similar to the grill on the Morgan but more of an angle back at the top.

Look at the Morgan Aeros face get that grill and hood make a mini version of this sports car it will be cool as hell from the front I can see it in the work you have already done you have a great shape for it. No reason eco can't look bad ass and cool if the design helps the efficiency.

The Morgan Motor Company

Something to think about...
