Looks better in picture than person, I painted it by hand on a stencil drawn on the hood .
I think I'm over my over stimulation from the pretrip/trip. I also cut the stencil for the car number and labeled both sides of the car...

I like where this thread is going, lots of intresting ideas.
The typeface for the stencil looks very similar to one called VAG Rounded, rather apt on a VW.
