kach22i -- I saw the improvement over the stock canvas top and side curtains; but I didn't see the next step. Good call. The B- and C-pillars even line up!

I will be showing this to my mechanic, he has a Thing/Trekker. Any guesses what the donor vehicle was?

Fat Charlie -- I believe those are new examples you brought to the thread.

Right now we have two vehicles in military attire and a third in Olive factory paint.

These are my wifes bikes she has a camo helmet and usually wears BTU's when she rides the Honda VTR250. It has the serial number stenciled on the side and a camo license plate.

Here is our camo van:

My VW is going to done over in some type of military finish. I have seen a lot of good examples in this post.

When we drive our camo vehicles every one sees them.

People drive around the block and hang out their car windows holding cameras yet the ones that I have talked to they all say the same thing. Riding that camo motorcycle (or driving that camo van) would be dangerous. Yet everyone sees them.

If the SHTF it might be an advantage. I know for sure that having an 86 VW diesel would be very good under those circumstances. Perhaps a opening could be put in the roof for a turret for a 50.

If a car was painted in digital camo, it would become a hazard.
Already, we drive slower than most everyone, so the last thing we need is to also not be seen.
Just look at the belly tank on that F/A18 . It is unrecognizable even sitting still.

I agree though that a car would look 'cool' in digital camo, but I want to be seen :-)

^^^I would agree. The least visible car might be a beige Corolla because no one is surprised to see it.

I have on more then one time thought of putting two barrels out the back with a caption "distance trigger, stay back 200 ft"

Have bright orange LEDs in the barrel, and flash it for tailgaters

I don't think that I will need LEDs to create orange flashes. But it will take a lot more than tailgating to get me to light them up.
