Whups ! Actually, the bottom image is a modified photograph .
I did quite a sloppy job - especially with the perspective at the rear.

The middle image is an actual illustration - acrylic, watercolor, and pencil.

As far as the oil pumps, I wanted something that could be 'read' from a distance and understood as being related to oil .
I like the idea of oil drums as well .

I already feel like mine resembles the APC from Aliens.

(Google APC from Aliens.... admin removed lotlinked image due to security / browser warning issue).

(Or just a crazy persons car)

So tempting. Might give me a reason to try a Kamm again.

FrankenJetta/post apocalyptic. Too cool. I am totally blown away by all those images. Awesome job.

I'm liking the ODG with rivets, but to me, the matte black is being overdone lately. Everything from sports cars to rock crawlers are being done all blacked out. It's just too trendy in my opinion.

I agree the flat black has been overdone, but the military green or brown (which of course is flat) might be a little out of the ordinary for a passenger car.

If you need evidence of awesomeness, just google search "EG6 tank" and pick your jaw up off the floor.

Hey...a side benefit to the rivets...They'd be like a bunch of Vortex Generators!!! I bet they'd add an extra 5-10MPG with all that extra vortex attached flow!

I hadn't seen your car in a while. I love the mods you have done so far. Very clean and professional. The front bumper even has a nice clean break line along the side for good flow separation, and the wheels look "solid".
I think the car is just begging for some ( flexible ) rubber gap fillers just above the wheels though.
