what did you attach it to?
do you think it's possible if I try using just the ramps instead of lift to install?
are you going to enclose the back section?

I used self tapping screws to screw into part of the frame, and a few other random places I thought would help keep it attached.
I had tried using ramps and jack stands the first time, and it was almost impossible. Using the lift, and an extra set of hands, made it so much easier, I can't even describe.
I would like to enclose the back, but I will need to find more material. I'm on the lookout for another truck bed liner, because it is very strong, and I think should help channel the air straight out the back.

Not a problem about the questions.
Total added weight was somewhere around 10-15lb. Not much. The bed liner is very light weight. It is very strong when you try to bend it against the ridges, but it flaps around easily with the ridges. I'm sure it wasn't much weight. I could have done it myself, held it up and screwed it in, but it was awkward to hold, and why not take the help if available.
Its being tested now, but I don't do short trip tests. I usually do full tank tests, but this time I will be filling early, right before TDIFest. Also, my results are going to not be accurate because I also switched to new rims and tires when I did the pan. When i get and numbers I will let you know.

thanks for the answers.
have you heard about adjusting timing using adaption? I did this to mine last week but only had 3/4 tank left so won't post results until I use a full one.
did you think about using this section for the rear?

I have heard about it, but I do not have access to a VCDS.
That section of the liner wouldn't have been long enough to cover the whole gap, and I don't have it anymore

My trip to TDIFEST in Maine was 908 miles on 15.654 gallons. 58mpg. Not bad for such wide and heavy tires
