Me too
It'd be easier if this was a poll.

Step one: Nominations, no voting.
Step two: Nominees will be entered into a poll, and we'll each get to vote for one.

It'll be a poll once we get some nominations in. Don't want to start the voting before all the candidates are rounded up. Give it a week

I can see the sense in MOTQ - mostly because of the number of projects reaching completion in any one month (especially in the northern hemisphere winter months).
On the other hand, this doesn't have to be about epic builds. I'd be perfectly content to feature & vote on grille blocks & variations on pizza pan attachment methods.

Ooo!
Will's CRXFi project (Metro XFi 1.0 engine into CRX)
He started the thread in Dec. '09, but I don't think the build actually started until '10.

The CRXFi did technically make it onto the road a number of times and make a trip in excess of 100 miles (maiden voyage to get some tires from Christ - the shift linkage dropped during this trip,I repaired it, and my hood got blown up onto my windshield by an oncoming truck - what an adventure!), but its not currently on the road because of a bearing.... does it still count? I'd nominate the crap out of 3 wheeler's insight tail, but is that on the road yet either? What an incredible job he did!

Jim's tail is on the car & on the road.
I'm also nominating dremd's 6 speed transmission swap:

I'm happy with monthly but could we subscribe, so we get emails ? I would love to vote but don't scan everyone's project. This thread has shown me a few I haven't spotted.

Monthly was a little too often, but yearly? By the time us northerners start our summer projects we've already forgotten about what was going on between January and April. So I say quarterly! Also, yearly contests begin and end right in the middle of 'Down Under Summer' (ie winter), so our Aussie and Kiwi members won't have anything ready yet.
Of course, for 2010 we should make an exemption.
