It looks a bit crude & slab-sided to my eye... sorta like an old BMW 7-series factory skirt:

I just checked Ebay and turns out there are no cheapo 50 dollar spoilers of substantial size
IIRC the trunk is so far below the "template" you can really just add to the trunk any 2-3 inch tall chunk of foam cut to approximate tapered "ducktail" shape (I'm sure you can make it look great, given your work).

Drilling for water
Since I dont use this car in the winter, I'm OK with drilling little holes underneath for mounting brackets, in this case for the skirts.
Imagine my surprise when I punctured the right side rocker panel:
It ran for a surprisingly long time! Maybe a cup or 2 of water came out.
I'm not sure how the rocker is supposed to let rainwater out (or how it gets in), but this one is obviously blocked... or used to be.

Maybe the previous owner was an ecomodder too and those were his ballast tanks for downhill trips?

Hnm...
An enclosed space. Wonder what you could use it for.
I am trying to fit a shower on to my car at the moment, and if i had found such a reservoir I would try to utilize it.
