Tells the car the clutch is pushed in, so the car won't regen or assist.

Spent most of the day working on the Insights and teaching my son to drive a stick. He did really well, pretty much has it down! Two Insights in the family is cool. We just need to get his twin brother on board now . . .

Yeah man, it's definitely my favorite mod so far!
Having the three buttons separately was awesome, but putting all three at my fingertips in that mega-cool shifter took them to a whole new level!

Dang Ecky, I didn't know you ordered one! Looks pretty sweet. Was a ***** getting it on there, wasn't it? Did you do it by yourself like I did?
I have another one coming for Ron Burgundy, and I have to fix the brake regen button on Turtle's shifter, it's not working.

Yeah, it was terrible! If I had to do it again, I'd just make extensions for the wires coming off the shift knob, rather than fiddling with spade connectors with one hand underneath the plastic housing over the shifter area. In my fiddling, I broke the solder connecting one of the wires to one of the switches, and had to resolder it in-place in the car.
I took it for a test drive, and found my left hand reaching for my old regen switch! I'm going to have to re-muscle-memorize my switches!

Yeah, I cussed a lot putting mine in. My hands are a lot bigger then yours, too - not fun!
I still find myself reaching my left hand over to the dash when I'm driving Ron Burgundy and clicking the fog light button, which used to be Turtle's clutch override switch
Once you're used to the three being on the shifter, you're never going to believe you even drove it with them separate. good luck with it, I can't wait til Daox finishes my new one!
