I think 30:1 is way outside the increased NOx range, so that should be the ticket, if that's what you're going for.

Could you provide some information or a link on your combustion chamber mods?

I know you said you'd provide engine pics as the disassembly went on, how's that going?

There are a few different lean burn prechambers out there.

My design is built into the heads combustion chamber. Its a secondary chamber that runs at a lower A/F ratio, around 14:1, while the original combustion chamber is lean out to around 25:1 A/F ratio.

The prechamber is creating a nice flame kernel propagating downward to ignite the rest of the lean 25:1 air fuel in the original combustion chamber.

That's the ticket I'm going after. It will pass emission as of now but I'm cheating.

I simple put my stock fuel and ignition map in (named pass emissions map)LOL

Pass the sniff test then reinstall the lean burn map.

Eventually I will show some pics. I just want to make sure everything is working before I show how crazy this is and have some else melt down their engine and blame me. LOL

The tear down went great and every thing looks good. No signs of detonation or over heating the internals.

Waiting for those pics, then. Don't blame you, though... I'm sure someone would say something to the effect that they don't want anyone to try it because it could hurt something, even though testing requires sacrifice... good call!

I have to give some major credit to naturalextraction

I hit a major wall and could not get over 19:1 A/F when the ambient temps were colder with the Fall season setting in. I had some surge issues at these temps and couldn't fix it. Then he mention to increase the intake temps and it was a instant fix.

All I had to do was by pass the inter-cooler.

Sometime the answer is so simple.

I Love this site!!!! Lots of good people.
