It's sounding like we will be without John Prine, as well as Carlin RIP.
I was sorting a stack of three-hole punched Zerox pages and came across this [I transcribe]:
Quote:
The Sunday Oregonian, August 23,1981
16th century prophesies of coming wars, golden age popular in France
by Jeffery Ulbrich
Paris(AP) — A new interpretation of the prophesies of the 16th century French physician and astrologer Nostradomus has become one of the top-selling books in France this summer. It predicts for the remainder of this century a Soviet-Arab invasion of Western Europe, then a major conflict with China, followed by a "golden age".
The book, "Nostradomus, Historian and Prophet," was written by Jean Charles de Fontbrune....
|
The TLDR; is he translated from Old French to the Latin Nostradomus thought in, then to New French. The only thing it gets wrong is the Soviet Union's continued existence.
I was a little surprised that the newspaper used lower case headlines. Now it goes in the shredder.
edit: Whelp, that was a long way from the Hippy-dippy Weatherman.

So basically - It might work so why not give it a try?

Drinking Tonic Water with quinine might not hurt, but my doctor limits me to 83 mg./day.

Don't know, can you provide a cite?
All I remember is hearing how the British Empire took over the world with rum and lime for the navy and gin and tonic for the army. It wasn't the watered down stuff you get today.
Piotrsko — I'd look if you provide a Permalink.

Infowars is reliability doing what it was designed to do.
1. Scare people with crazy conspiracy theories
2. Sell them survival gear and magic potions
It has made Alex Jones many millions.
