Those are stock photos. ![Wink](/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif) Pictured is a second gen Fit too, not a 1st gen (the taillights in the bottom photo give it away):

The first picture is the actual car. It's the only one I had without my girlfriend also in the picture.
I think it's in fantastic shape considering age and miles.
Only the seat folding pictures are "stock".

Thanks for the note.
And for sure, those Fits are amazing cars! ![Thumbs up](/forum/images/smilies/grinning-smiley-003.gif)

I love doing the whole "What can you fit in the Fit?" game. ![Big Grin](/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif) Pretty much anything you want, within the length limit of the car. I've done:
Lazy Boy
Dresser
Kitchen stove
300 ft rolls of farm fencing
4 hay bales (laid a tarp down first for less mess, hay is like velcro on the carpet)
up to 300 lb of feed sacks from the farm store, multiple times a month
The buzzy gearing isn't a problem below 50 mph, which is 95% of my driving.

Makes me want one of these cars badly. Seriously.

Imagine if they would just drop a tall 6th gear into it. Instant killer competition for Chevy's Sonic and Cruze. Wouldn't lots of families choose it over a similarly priced Sonic because the hwy FE is similar, the reliability is great, and the cargo area is wildly superior? Honda should pay me! ![Big Grin](/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

If the Fit had taller gears I would own one. I love that little car but the FE gets sketchy above 55 mph...not that I get above 55 much anyway lol.

What's wrong with the TPS mandate? (I assume you mean TPMS? Tire pressure sensors?)

While you're swapping out the bulbs... you can also swap out the cargo / trunk light with a drop-in replacement that has a built-in switch so you can turn it off and keep the hatch open when needed.
More info here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...ll-w-pics.html
Unfortunately the pics are gone from that thread, but they have the part numbers for the replacements.
Another thing you can look at is swapping out the battery for a bigger one. Yep, it will add a little weight but I've found it to be effective. (I have the GE not the GD model.) I've run down the standard battery several times in the past. I upgraded to a better battery and have never had that problem again.

One feature I like about the Fit is the fuel tank under the front seats instead of the rear one like most cars have. No wonder it has so much space in that tiny package. BTW I remember hearing about Brazilian-made Fits being exported to the U.S., do you know if this is one of those?
