I LOVE this guy.

We have a thread here that he has commented on about the kit.

I'm not going to buy one, but I'm willing to talk about them. That's what we do here.
Even if it takes a long time for it to pay for itself I am going to get a TDI sort of. The price of a TDI engine is much less then a new car and will make my mk2 golf much more fun to drive then the 1.6 N/A D. plus on the good side its much lighter then any American TDI car.

In the rear view it's extended ~1ft, but it should have been narrowed as well. The contour would actually be somewhat like the Volvo C30 with broad fenders and a narrow cabin.

You could totally do that, replacing the rear hatch fenders and bumper. A reasonable goal would be 10% better mileage; e.g., 50 to 55mpg.

Would someone with photoshop skills please throw a template on this? G3F suggests 60 mpg at 70 mph IIRC. I wonder if it will be that much more aerodynamic than a Jetta in real world driving.

Note that (AFAIK) the roof isn't finalized on the G3F, so throwing a template on the concept art may not tell you much.
