I saw my first Model 3 (outside of a showroom) three weeks ago tomorrow, gray with the aero wheel covers; it looked pretty good out in the wild. Then, last Friday another one in a bank parking lot, this time white with the aero covers and Indiana temporary plates.

I'm betting the first one was a Chicago car (~114 miles from here) and the second Indianapolis (~126 miles). We do have one local supercharger, at a Meijer next to I-74.

Oh! Almost forgot, but I saw my second ever Cad ELR the day before yesterday just south of San Antonio. No pics since I was driving the 18 wheeler. The looks of that car alone make a compelling case.

GROM! I also saw my first one in the wild on Friday.

I've never seen an ELR.

---

Surely a sign of changing times: on a bike ride to the grocery store (7 minutes) I saw:

- Mitsu iMiev
- Kia Soul EV

- BMW i3 with the range extender

I've mentioned the iMiev and Soul before in this thread (same cars, seen previously). But I've never seen so many, so concentrated.

And a friend of mine said she just ordered a Prius Prime.

I have not yet seen a Honda Grom in the wild, nor have i seen the ELR yet either. Those both are pretty cool and i will have an eye out for both of them. If i may humbly add another bike seen in the wild!

My buddy and i both have Honda NC700x's. I have never seen a "Full Size" bike get the mpg that Honda is squeezing out of these! Fuelly is recording some pretty impressive results. I typically get 70-80 commuting, and have a personal best of 99-mpg that i backed up with a 98-mpg! Now i hardly ever drive the little TDI Beetle. It has impressive mileage, but not even close to the NC700.

Spotted this Chevrolet Cavalier near my hometown in 2012

Romanian Dacia double-cab pick-up, possibly from the '90s, pictures taken in 2013 in Rio Branco, Uruguay

Renault 12 spotted right at the border cross between Santana do Livramento and Rivera (Uruguay), notice the similarities with the Dacia...

My friend sent me this tonight and I knew I'd find more pictures here. Did the owner ever post?

Nice to see it's still on the road three years later.

Such a nice, smooth job on that bumper/grille block.
