I test drove a 2012 CR-Z and I was hoping for just a little more umph. Had the car had maybe 170 bhp and returned 30-35 mpg rather than the 120 something it has and just 40 mpg, then I would be a lot more inclined to buy it. It's just too slow for the looks.
I also like the 2nd gen Insight, much more than the Prius. I like it's "torquey" ICE only feel to it, rather than the wafty sloshy Prius CVT feel.
