What I wanted about the time I left Japan was either a turbo-diesel Delica or Previa. Both could be had in all-wheel drive and stick shift...

Hold off on the wrist slashing, war_wagon. My coughing was intended to "inspire" you to make a project of your Previa. The last thing I need is another project.

The guy in the CR-Z needs to work on both his parking and car washing skills.

Ok Ok so I swore off the saving old eco cars thing. Then I saved that nice '91 Corolla 5 speed with low KMs from the scrap guy. And was rewarded by selling it to the movie set people I deal with for a nice profit. Probably the only time I have actually made money off an old rescue car. I then said "OK for real this time! No more old 4 cylinder cars!". And then this happened.

You are right in thinking it's just some old, trashed, 20 year old Cavalier. And you are correct. The body is hit pretty much everywhere. But the seats look pretty nice, and it's pretty clean under the hood? The sharp eyed among you may have noticed the plug in the fender where the antenna should be. Yes, it also has the radio delete block off plate in the dashboard still. This was evidently the last car grandma had before the family took her license away because she kept running into things. How do I know that? Check this out -

So that works out to 27000 miles for our American friends. On a 20 year old car. And this car was going to get crushed if I didn't save it. Tell me you wouldn't have done the same, I dares ya! If I went bankrupt tomorrow (a real possibility haha), and needed a cheap car to last me the rest of my life, I think I'd have to pick this thing as the prime candidate for that. I have a '92 Cavalier Z24 that has 70k KMs on it I bought as a movie set piece, but this old 4 cylinder Cav is the lowest mileage car for its age I have ever seen. If you have a lower mile car you have seen I would love to see it!

Yup, this car has what we call the "2 keys and a heater" option group.
