Their front-end really don't resemble the one from their American counterparts, but they don't really resemble a Ford so much...

Here's one I encountered on the road.
Those of you in less rust-prone areas might ask what the big deal about a 1971 Porsche 914 was?
Take a look at the rear panel. "ELECTRIC".
I didn't get a chance to ask the driver which parts he used, but he did tell me that he has gotten an 88-mile range out of it.

Neat!
Well, I spotted both a Leaf and a Model S on my way in to Ottawa to pick up my passport this week. No pics, but we all know what they look like by now. :P

That streamliner is pre-'96 Cavalier from the looks of the lights. I think that style was '88-'95. I saw a real museum piece today, a guy was trying to sell it to me. I almost bought it, but had no idea what I'd do with it. I didn't get a pic, but I'll see if I can get him to send me one. 2000 Honda Civic DX, black 2 door hatch, 5 speed, only option it had was power steering (could you even get manual steering in a Civic in 2000?) with, get this, 56,000 original KMs (34,000 miles). It still had the cup holder adapter that lets you put a smaller cup in the cupholder without it moving around. I have never seen one of those left in a Civic lol. It would probably be a smart car for me to grab and keep for 10 years as a driver, but I seem to have a lot of old cars sitting around that seemed like a smart plan at the time ha ha.

Kia Bongo: this one, with an updated version of the 4D56 engine used in the old Mitsubishi trucks, performs many duties the average Joe wouldn't trust anything under 4-litre to perform. And also has a swamp-cooler instead of an A/C
That's not the most usual Brink's armored van back here, but there are few Sprinters at its Brazilian branch. It features a 2.1L 4-pot turbodiesel instead of the 2.7L which was used in American versions of the Sprinter.
A 1st-gen Land Rover Discovery might not be the stereotypical eco-car, but this one with a 2.5L turbodiesel is more reasonable than the ones with the V8.
2nd-gen Ford Ecosport, the Fiesta-based mini SUV
Dacia Duster, locally rebadged as Renault Duster: altough the boxy shape doesn't sound so outstanding for an eco-car, it's stout enought to handle some mild off-roading that the US-spec glorified minivans can't stand so easily. If the rebadged Nissan version become available in America, it can eventually take some market from heavier SUVs.

Saw a FIAT 500e today as in electric, I will try to snap some pics later. I really like the wheels.

Is that another one of those cases where people and money can easily move across the border, but cars can't?

Depends on the state you want to take it to. The car was nice enough to be worth exporting if someone was going to keep it, but wasn't worth me buying it to not be able to sell it locally.

These are really old, both from the 50s.
The yellow is a BMW Isetta 250 and the red is a 300.
The yellow is still undergoing a restoration.
The red is 100% restored
