I asked amy about leaving the screen unsoldered a few weeks ago and got swift replys, then I put in an order on Monday the 2nd. and havent heard anything back yet.

Im excited to see how this works on my 90 CRX VX, Im only using a multimeter between the d14 and d16 pins on my ECU and can get a good reading of my Leanburn, but I would like to know what gears work best on what hills.

How long is the wait these days???

Mpgian- I ordered mine on 04/16/11 and got it yesterday. I waited a week to PM Amy and got a quick reply that a part was on back order. I thanked her and waited it out. I got a shipping notice in my email about a week before I got it ( I think they still use horses around here).

archat68- Seriously? First post of this very thread... first sentance... underlined... click on it (left mouse button)... scroll down a bit past the borring middle stuff... click on the word DONATE just under the words "for international"... I can't help you after that as I used the other button.

I think he is quite serious. that link is for the PRE ASSEMBLED he specifically asked about the "KIT" ie I think he wants to build one himself.

I have not found a KIT yet but this references a kit so it might be a good start (I did not look too deeply)

True.

Fundamental Logic used to sell the kits earlier. They stopped selling now:

Apologies. I thought you were looking for an easy answer without actually doing any research. Where I work, "kit" usually has a major/preassembled part with a few bits extra for adaptability to differing applications( kinda like the preassembled MPGuino, except this requires adding the extra bits yourself).

The wiki has a parts list as does the thread here and if you are looking for real DIY, desolder the bits from other electronics. Don't know, but maybe you can get Amy to put all the pieces for a kit into a bag before they are soldered together. Personally, I like having the important bits all put together and ready for me to do the fun( to me) stuff.

Thanks again guys for doing all this.

LOVING mine. I wonder can I pay more for a "customized" unit? ie all I want is the screen on a tether say 24 inches) instead of attached and instead of buttons pig tails soldered in place so I can attach my own remote buttons.

if I were to say pay double would that be possible?

Mine works quite well. I'd like to be able to switch up the screens a bit; change some of the data on display. Is this possible w/the pre-built, or with the DIY version?
