fwiw, phonegap seems to have evolved quite a bit since I last looked (android/ios/windows)
PhoneGap | Home
I'm sure its a lot more fluff and rabbit holes than I imagined, but there it is.
but android surpassed iphone long ago. and apple doesn't play nice in development anyway.

I'm not sure what those graphs mean, but if it is saying that the iphone is bad, then I agree. haha

So it can be done, then.
I got the Nook because Apple didn't make an iPad that size at the time. B&N don't know software. Never updated, never will be.
There is also used and refurbs.

there is, but it has the opposite problem of apple, too much variance. Unless you have an army of testers and developers it is best to pick an android device that you officially support and go from there, not the fire!
of course the fancier you get with your application in bleeding edge api's and whatnot, the more likely that old android phone you nicked from the phone recycling bin isn't going to work with it.
lots of vids on the hc05 and android these days (I've also used it from ubuntu, windows should be easy. mac? depends if they decide to wall off the garden on a temperamental morning or not.

ok, *maybe* fire, brand name and $50 and supported by cordova (get out of my head ricardo montleban!) and a2dl bluetooth. But I'm not wild about having to root it to get to the google playstore.
cordova comes with rich corinthian apache support, instead of power hungry adobe support for phonegap. I'll play with it a bit more. ios might work too.
https://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/l...ort/index.html
will start here:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/cordov...uetooth-serial
(note the hardware requirements for IOS)

Someone is paying for me to assemble one of those "200kW" AC controllers for his car. I just had picked 200kW as a nice round number thinking 400 volts and 500amps peak, but it's actually 339kW even with the derating!! 1.5 * 400voltDCBus * 400*sqrt(2) assuming power factor of 1. I need to change the name of the instructable. Maybe if I had said 339kw I wouldn't have gotten in last place in the contest (and wouldn't have been beaten by the LED sneakers. Totally not bitter). haha.
The neat thing is, he has a Leaf motor so I'm making it for that. AND he is using a Volt battery pack. The 2 together were $2000 (including shipping). Man, those junk yards don't know what they have! So I'm learning from Eclipse's resolver circuit since it uses resolvers. Eclipse is the master of op amps. I still can only make a voltage follower by typing "voltage follower" in google.

Paul - The most helpful video I found on google hangouts live recording
How-to Record Google Hangouts Video
Others have better information on each individual step, or list more options and how to optimize them. This one touched everything I needed.
EDIT - *FINALLY* found an app to record from bluetooth headset. The noise cancelling is not as good as Google Hangouts Live, but recording from the headset instead of from the microphone is quite important
Bluetooth Voice Recorder by 0alex - free - and you only need to configure 'normal mode' and 'prefer bluetooth'. Works OK and I'll be using it as it does not require internet bandwidth .. my internet is slow and my wireless coverage is a bit spotty in the garage.

That is so awesome!!! Thank you for your meticulous tests! Do you just attach the 24v to the DC motor, and then slow it down gradually with the AC motor? I think if you hit '0' once, it sets the AC motor back to zero throttle. You could do that before disconnecting the DC motor's 24v I suppose.
