A month or so ago he was posting on DIYELECTRICCARS in the controller subforum that he had a another new job, house up in a northern state that I can't remember. He was answering the P&S emails, albiet slowly and developing a new 3phase controller .

If not, I'd love to grab the files and try find a good spot to host them somewhere that makes it easy for newcomers (like myself) to access and put together.
I can't guarantee I'll be speedy as I'm not entirely amazing at wiki creation but I have a lot of time!
My email is a.thomas[AT]outlook.com.au

No update on the wiki/website .. as far as I've heard.

I will pm .. emailing files is a bit of a pain, as you need to split them. Dropbox or onedrive would be easier but also more complex.

I have files for:
- original cougar, incomplete. No gerbers but I think there are photos of the board masks.
- 1000 amp mod (I think that was what it was called) (maybe a couple of files) ... likely complete
- AC Controller (IGBTs) .. maybe called 1000 amps? I think (hope) they are complete to what I have .. serial number 2 or 3
- DC Controller (IGBTs) .. I think it could have been called 1500A or something like that. Should be complete, but I think I misplaced the gerbers
- DC-DC converter (5V converter used on all of the boards) - complete
- notes on Pull-up resistors for DC-DC converter, so you need a smaller power supply. The DC converter was shorting out on power-up due to a floating input ... or something along those lines. I'm too lazy to look it up

Public Service announcement: It appears that one of Paul's 500A DC controller kits is posted on ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/313326781399?ul_noapp=true

At least, that's what it looks like to me .. from the pictures.

The seller does not appear to ship to Canada, so I'm out

I forgot about sending files to @Staircase ... I'll try to get that done this week

It is hard to tell what is in the photos, but I do not see a controller circuit board, capacitors or buss bars. I would not assume the silicon is there either.

The bare power circuit board is there and the cabinet and base plate, so a good deal if you need those pieces.

I *HAD* a cougar. It ... did not survive ...

One of the MOSFETs had failed and taken out a couple of others. My troubleshooting caused the failure of the serial comms with the controller. So It might work ... but likely not. SIGH!

The Netgain Industrial controller that I *HAD* working I blew the IGBT. I have never gotten it replaced, but it is on my TODO list.

The second Netgain had a failed digital output. Since the output cannot turn on the secondary contactor, it fails the Power-up sequence, throws a code and stops. I may need to move that IGBT over to the first controller .. we'll see.

I have secured a 'few' (15 or so) IGBTs of various sizes and ages that may be large enough to use on a vehicle.

I am planning to retire in April of 2021 ... we'll see what projects I get to!

Rev-2C control board, PCB file

Does anyone have the PCB file and SCH file for the REV-2C motor controller? I got really excited to build this thing from the instructables site, but all the links to the files have expired.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I think Adam Brunette has recently found the files and I believe put it on a github. Let me see if I can find it. Nope. haha. But I will check on the phone later since he sent me a "messenger" message about it. I used to have the files, but they were on my laptop. I think that was the laptop that I went to get from my car at 1am in Houston in the HOOD, and was robbed at gunpoint a few years ago. More fun than a barrel of monkeys!
