Hi thanks for the reply, the tensile strenth is 5 times higher, however the issue would be strain strenth, also like you say compressive strenth is compromised. 50% would ensure 0 flex. I will keep them steel, I've figured a way to make the exhaust mainly from titanium without welding. This saves way more weight and lots of time without any calculations or risk.

also as mentioned by others reducing the radiator size and such, there are many larger items easier to fabricate to replace with less structural significance

Its more done than the pictures, I may make clear sections that blend with the headlights and leave no turbulence at all

This weeks surprise was not how light titanium was but how heavy the sawn off bolt ends weighed, 9g a piece

By making the replacement parts I'm largely avoiding the front bumper bonnet assembly which will be the far most taxing and emotionally disturbing of all the proceedures

Also the kevlar has to be painted out of the sun or it turns to bran flakes

only was going to have yellow on black I weave on the roof with wood veneer

mould nearly done on the nearside but will use an easier process on the other side

n.b, once day temps are below 15c I may mould my 5.5j wheels for a carbon kevlar mix. May be quite easy I think. 65% mass ratio, after all it's mindless light

also buying more carbon for the roof, hatch structure, the roll bars will only be kevlar. A seperate work equipment rack, toilet roll tubes covered in 3k

It will only require one mould. I will use one of the wheels and change the front to maybe a flat or flat wide spoke, make the outer bevel simpler so they can be wet out from inside easier

Battery cover will just need trimming. Next time it will only need 3x200g thickness it's quite strong

Sanding the mould, but waiting for gelcoat on that, also ordered lots of kitchen towel empty cardboard rolls
