you should be able to because if your current stats are based on short trips, it's very hard to get good MPG on them because the engine is cold and in-efficient most of the time, so on your long trip it will do much better

Like the new rear skirts & the new photos.
Did you get up on the garage roof for one? That's what I did to get the top right one in this pic:

GRU- In those short trips I allowed the engine to fully warm-up so it should be pretty close to the MPG I'll get on the trip. I guess I'll have more incentive to stop less because it'll bring my MPG down.
Metro- I didn't have a ladder available and figured trying to get on top of my garage with a garbage can was a bad idea, so I rolled my tool box out of the garage, put a stool onto of it, and stood on top of that. It was worth it to get that shot because I think it looks pretty sweet.

Looking excellent -- I hope you can do a coastdown test and start a fuel log. I drove a 2002 ZX-5 just before I got my 2005 xA and I probably averaged 27MPG and occasionally got as high as 33-35MPG? The stock Cd of this car is 0.36, I believe and I'll bet you have reduced that significantly.
Good job!

tru-I have an ultragauge
NeilBlanchard- I don't know if you remember, but someone in the forum tried to figure out why the Cd of the hatchback model was higher than that of the wagon, and they concluded that it was because of the rounded rear end, so I bet my boat tail dropped the Cd significantly more than it would have on another car. I'll have to get to some coastdown testing when I get everything figured out.

Yes, I'm certain you have lowered the Cd significantly -- 0.25 or 0.26 would not be surprising.

Hopefully I can get some coast down data to confirm.

Thing looks awesome.
With a combined of 25 (one mpg higher than the Probe) you should be able to get low 40's. I'm convinced it's getting at least 45mpg on actual highway cruising.
Do some P&G and you might get even better, although from pre-boat tail experience it's going to take a LOT of work to get above 45.
Any problems yet with the new break-over angles? I'm scared to try it since I occasionally drive off-road to campsites and stuff.

maybe i missed it, but since you have an ultra gauge...
how are your instant mpg's looking at various speeds?
40 - 50 - 60 - 70 mph?
