That's probably a dealer only part. You should be ordering from hondaautomotiveparts.com since they're pretty close to your neck of the woods. I've got the donuts that go between the header and cat, but all my stuff is for your old engine and the D16A6.

I'm just going to get it from the local dealership since Majestic wants 16 dollars for shipping and handling,

Man I love these cars. Just got a line on a super clean white 91 CRX DX. Theft recovery, suspension, exhaust and radio all gone. Going to jump on it, since I have all those parts from my Civic Si. Put it back together stock, but do MPFI swap for better mileage. Skinny tires are going to kill my corner speed. Right now driving the Si, even hypermiling it I can just glide through turns at double the speed a normal car can do. 205/50/15 Azenis RT615's rock. I'm sure they're costing some mpg though. Applying some Hypermiling to this tank, so far I've gone 84 miles and the guage hasn't moved yet.
Changing my driving style is the hardest part.

Those low cost motors coming out of Japan you can thank the Japanese Government for them. There are rules about mileage and time on a car.
At 30K the car must go through a major inspection and emissions.
It is basically cheaper to install a new motor than pay to have the engine re-certified. At ten years the car has to go through a major inspection and in most cases it is cheaper to buy a new car. Any car over ten years of age is basically taxed out of existence. The reasons for these Government inspections is to force people to buy new cars thus creating jobs.
The old cars are shipped out to third world nations and resold.
It's the way the Japanese economy works.

I was incorrect on some and right on other points.
Here is an explination to why there are all those cheap
used engines coming over here from over there.
How we get cheap low mileage engines

Nice link. I wasn't saying your were correct, by the way. I knew about the registration stuff, and when I went to japan I didn't expect to see any old cars running around. Of course, I didn't, until one day I saw a CRX and a Honda Beat. I ended up seeing a few CRXs but nothing else that old besides the Beat.
Anyway, exhaust leak fixed! I guess I can call the swap a success and get working on the swap guide now, eh?

There have been so many attempts at the z1 swap, and this seems to be missing the extreme pain and frustration that others endured before finally giving up. Impressive. I wonder if bunger is still getting 80+mpg tanks in his stripped down z1/hf. I am envious of this swap's potential, and can't wait for the first gaslog entry!
