It does have some angled ventral strakes though - not clear wether they have any control function or not.

I thought they were fixed landing gear skids, but they may serve as an inverted V-tail.

Since a stock Daihatsu Delta is a cabover, MAYBE this front clip can actually enhance the aerodynamics a little...

If I recall correctly, this is from this month's Car and Driver. Just an odd detail, one we have theorized about before but were never quite sold on as I remember.

Interesting, but a jack of all trades typically doesn't do any one thing very well.

I'm thinking it would be electric with very short range.
