Interesting, but it really went off the rails with the turkey vulture.

The monster truck is an awkward use case, with the tires and exposed undercarriage, but this one has an aerocap, rudder fin, skegs and (best of all) a shark mouth. I watched this thing on the TV at the pizza parlor and these things are amazing, when they go upside down the fall onto one or two tires and they can spin them the right direction to flip the whole thing rightside up again.

I check, there is at least one electric monster truck. The Bigfoot Electric Monster Truck

This reminds me of the Catchman's ice sled in the movie Barbarella:

Just a little micro-management going on at the rear of open wheel cars these days.

Apparently skin friction and interference drag are over-rated?

That's what I was thinking. I would love to see this working in a wind tunnel though.

I have an idea or two but want to see if it matches anyone else's ideas.
My guess will be: Less movement to effect same force. Thus, less drag. Less noise. But that has to be one helluva rudder mount.

Whose boat? Looks like English buildings in background.
