A High Speed Aerodynamic Paradigm

Photo of a Don Burr truck outline as designed for the European market. This truck is still too high and lacks the proper length to form a boat tail to get the 0.13 CD shape needed for our high speed 90 MPH rural interstate highway paradigm.

Cartoon Bat & Bat to help illustrate air flow.
Porsche
I think the bat should have been shown as sucked under the roof wing via venturi effect, then gliding down the rear windshield and flying either above or below the rear wing.
Also some of that bat's tail would have been sucked into the 911's engine bay from the powerful fan.

Porsche has an integrated alternator/fan. They could remove the fan belt and reverse the electrical connection to drive it. VW mechanics use to do that to cool the motor down for a valve adjustment. Cooling air volume is equal to or greater than combustion air volume.

This has been explored, consensus is that the unique demands of an air-cooled car make it impractical. It would take the battery pack and electric motor of a 2000 Honda Insight just to cool the Porsche engine ( not good weight and expense wise).

I have changed out my alternator before, for once I was glad I had small hands.

Different performance regime, I guess.
The back cone is an interesting part. It looks like it would need a chin strap to wear one as a hat!
Technically tuft testing, but I'll put this here.
