Reddit has a little freakout over Bam Zip Pow's aero pickup & boat tail trailer
Someone spotted the T-100 with the 1-wheel aero trailer in the wild and posted pics on Reddit.
REDDIT: "Aerodynamic" Pick up : WTF
What ensues is a combination of ignorance...
- "This would not increase fuel mileage in any way."
- "Given the extra weight it probably decreases vehicle efficiency."
- "Exactly. Unless he's speeding backwards often"
- "I can't help but feel a tonneau cover would suffice."
... plus a surprising amount of attempts at education to refute these statements.
I like how someone mentions Phil's work as well.

The shooter actually asked my permission to shoot piccies of the truck. He didn't ask any questions about the rig at all.

There isn't any duct tape holding anything on and everything is bolted down or pinned down. This truck can be returned to a fully stock setup in about an hour. Gas cost savings to date has been over $4000 from the past 6 years which has paid for the truck, trailer, and good portion of the gas used.

I don't really understand the order of comments. BZP, did you comment after all of those comments or did they continue to be ignorant even after you said your 'before and after'?
