I should really check the tire pressure but with those wheel covers it's terribly hard to fill them up, let alone at a gas station air pump. We'll see if my friend can help me out in OH.
...Ready for my road trip!

I like the looks
Why no tape at the bottom edge of front lights / top edge of bumper? Looks like it would be of more benefit than, say, the tape at rear hatch top, no?

At 60mph with all the aero mods I appear to have acheived 52mpg without drafting. I can't believe it. It's unreal. I then took off all the temporary mods except the rear skirts and got 39mpg at 65mph on the way home. Shows you how much the mods, driving speed and wind speed affect FE.
We ran out of time to get the lights on (that may happen next weekend) but methinks construction of "permanent" removable skirts will begin immediately.
52mpg!

Building a mirror... I'm a professional sculptor now so hopefully it looks good.

Great excuse to buy a new DeWalt drill
PS- Thanks, Darin, for the stickers and kind note! I will post new pics when the car is done up again for this weekend.
PPS- the rear skirts are the talk of the studio... haha. They won't actually influence anything, but it appears a few people I work with are also interested in aerodynamics and ecomodding. It's really cool to finally be on the same page with someone about this.

Yay! Seems stylists and aerodynamicists are so often at odds. Way to spread the gospel, brother.

Oh yeah, and I went out to the car this morning to find a guy's business card under the wiper. It says he would like to talk with me about the project and lists his phone number. Ha! This will be interesting.
