Yea grab the ecu number as well. It's behind the passenger kick panel by the floor. What model civic is it? I couldn't read anything on the hatch.

I'll go grab numbers tomorrow. The PO had the ECU hidden in a corner of the garage so I surely know where it goes!
I've been looking though Japanese names, and I'm somewhat partial to Ren. The car is definitely a guy.

I'll also go look at the steering components to make sure it's the tie rod ends. I'm not going to drive the car until that's fixed and it's lowered and aligned.

Did my tie rod end and aligned it this morning. Not too bad out 25F and sunny.I got the more expensive one with the grease fitting. $18.99 and not the cheap one, $10.99.
Honda suspensions are a pain to work on, when I changed the struts in my 87 accord, I had to drill out the pincher bolts because they snapped off. Saturns just have two big bolts to undo, no pincher clamps.. I always put grease on all the threads, so if I need to take it apart in the future, it will be easier and not rusted up.
... rolling better than ever with zero toe. alignment procedure posted on sc1 aeromods

Thanks. Sorry no extras here but if you ever need a hand with making/installing the kammback feel free to hit me up, I'd be happy to help. This is my first Honda as well.

arcosine-
Could it be difficult because of the double wishbone suspension?
drainoil-
I'll be experimenting with fiberglass at some point so you'd be welcome to build a kammback off my template afterward. I like to DIY stuff like that.
Cd-
Thought about Ren&Stimpy but also about Rén. I liked Kiku as well, but the car just isn't a girl.
WS,arc-
No boat tail. I'm debating putting rear skirts on. There will be no duct tape on this car. Whatever I make will have to be bolted or zip tied on. That could mean removable fiberglass rear skirts in the future. We'll see what MPG it gets as is.
It's a D16Y7 engine. I didn't see if it's still OBD.

Also did not get a chance to check the tie rod ends today, but I will pick up some stuff at NAPA tomorrow to get started.
Today was spent blocking the grilles, sanding and retouching some of the cracking bumper paint, moving the license plate to a less distracting place, and removing the front "H" emblem. Turns out the car was built in Ontario.
There is a serious problem with something in the drivers side window mechanism, so that it does not roll up correctly. I'm going to leave it as is until I can either buy another, working, door or fix it. The upper hatch needs a strut assembly.
The paint looks best in photos. It looks good from about 60 feet away.

4x4 stance. Buying coilover springs tomorrow.
Edit oops. Forgot to get the ECU number.
VIN tells me the specific chassis code for this car is EH2 (3 door 1.5L). It rolled off the line in Alliston, ON with a stick shift trans.

Okay last thing for tonight. I've seen rumors of OEM exterior mirror delete panels for JDM models, but can't seem to find any hard facts or items for sale. Does anyone know about this? I'd rather throw a piece of plastic on there than rig up God-knows-what to fill the hole.

Last last thing for tonight.
Just bought some cheapo coilover springs. The Ebay page showed a big-boobed Asian chick in front of a yellow R34 Skyline, as well as assurance that these coilovers offers [sic] race car performance. Well, if that's the case...
G'night, guys and gals!
