Saw the guy with the wheel covers again
That's twice in a month I've pulled up next to him at the entrance to I-4, so he must live in Kathleen near me.
Love those wheel covers, although they're looking a little worse than last time I saw him.

Only one truck with them by you?
I see them often enough on my commute that I've stopped noticing.

Yeah it's still rare enough here to notice. I do see a lot of trucks with the side skirts now, though. They're the best ones to draft, other than an empty car hauler (for whatever reason).

I saw a truck with the exact same model covers on the tractor yesterday, pulling out of the business across the street. My car was parked on the street, and I got a good look at them as he pulled past.

covers
I grabbed mower fuel yesterday at the local LOVE's travel center and saw quite a few.The truck drivers are forced to do mandatory rest periods and they're overwhelming the truck parking area now.But it's nice thing to see lots of truck aero.

Yes,I'm doing my part to hasten Global Climate Change. The Property Owners Association has some attachment to at least a little grounds maintenance. For access to some of our infrastructure,it's nice to have chigger-free passage.
PS And yeah, the local colloquialism police monitor casual speech around here so it's impotent tuh thro yer can in thuh truck, 'n get yerself sum go-juice at thuh truckstop, 'n fondle a few pretty Peterbilts whilst yer at it.Whoeeeeee!

I use a grass whip. No moving parts and it's completely silent. But you have an opportunity there.

We have 40-acres of commons,80-acres overall. And fire ants are a lethal threat to the toddlers out here,so we make a token attempt to reveal hazards to them.It nice to be able to see the venomous snakes too! North Texas, gotta love it!
