does this only work on obd2 and obd1. i have a stand alone ecu, could i splice it into my injectors and rpm.

Yes, the mpguino is a kit and does not use either OBDI or OBDII; it connects directly to the car's speed sensor, injector (just one) and switched voltage for its power and signals. It does NOT connect into or through any OBDI or II connector.

i have batch fire injection 2 x 3, can you divide/mult the signal for that.

Am I correct in thinking you have basically four options for MPG display?
1. Factory-installed instrumentation
2. MPGuino for non-ODB, about $50, 4-wire install
3. ScanGauge2 for ODB2, about $150, plug&play
4. UltraGauge for ODB2, about $70, plug&play

So if you don't have ODB2 port, your only option is MPGuino? And besides supporting Darin and Ben and this website, what other advantages does SG2 offer over UltraGauge that is half the cost?
