Do have an engine kill switch? Have you tried disconnecting your sensor? Maybe something isn't contacting? When I was fooling around with my camshaft sensor I got P0341. Today's engines have tons of sensors and electronics, so it can keep on going when 1-2 sensors go bad. In my case a disconnected camshaft sensor didn't stop the engine (neither did disconnecting the crankshaft sensor, or both!), but it did keep it from starting.

Congrats with the new SGII, may it serve you well
I do hope that you remember to glance at the road every now and then while driving?

Ok I already have a question about the SGII, This morning I started up my car and the car had a little bit of a hard time (as it does sometimes, possibly b/c of these codes) My SGII drew a blank screen so I took out the cord and put it back on and it reset everyone of my settings...

Will the SGII reset every time I have a failed start? I'm not too worried about it now but if I calibrate it and it resets I'm not going to be happy I have about 2 more days before my first calibration fill up...

Also, How off is the SGII before you calibrate? If only by tenths of a MPG then I don't care that much

Iv had it blank out one more time but instead of pulling the cord I just drove w/o the SG and when i turned the car off I waited for it to go to sleep then turned the car back on and it worked fine, I think the cord may have just been loose because I took it out and put it back in and it clicked and I didn't remember it clicking into the port the first time...

Dave - when they found out it wasn't a navigation tool or a megasquirt controller I bet they were PO'd. Serves them right.

RandomFact314 -
My '97 Civic had problems where ScanGauge would lose its data. Don't know if your problems are in any way related. But read below; it took me many months to debug this for my car.

Learn what "Mode" you SG has to be in - ISO, CAN, etc. - for your car.
You can set the Mode on SG; explore "More" and/or "Setup" to find it.
- - (Normally it finds the right mode automatically)
Then see if it's lost that setting when it fouls itself up.
My car's issues came down to, I had to put the horn and headlights on relays. I know it sounds weird but switching hi/low and blowing the horn would cause the SG to mess up. It looks like the 12V power through the OBDII connector wasn't stable at those times. Powering those loads separately + directly off the battery via relays cleaned up the 12V power thru the OBDII connector. No more problems, and it's been many months now.
