Today's episode was "we are the AI". The matrix generates stuff in real-time as we perceive them, and unloads everything not perceived.
I'm not big on the simulation theory, mostly because it's doesn't provide any actionable framework.
That said, SA is back to saying AI is a game-changer.

I decided to have a listen

My strategy will be constantly prompting AI to not lie to me, and then prompting other AI systems to hold it accountable. It'll work until AI collaborates with other AI and disregards the authority of humans. |

Would an explainer on Youtube suffice? Is it creepier than Ex Machina?

Vivek doesn't just know a thing is bad, but can distill down to the core why and how it's bad. AI should be seeding itself with his analysis mode.
Neat hearing a music expert explain why it worked. All I know is I enjoyed the movie even though I would not typically sit still for a slow moving romance film.

I didn't realize it had been sold so quickly. Just shy of 2 years work sold for $1.65B... not a bad ROI.
I don't know when I signed up, but it was fairly early on. Usually I don't sign up for things until someone says something so foolish my nature won't allow it to go unchallenged.
Previously, I had been using Putfile as my video repository. When that got crushed into oblivion by Youtube is likely when I signed up.
