I can't imagine anything more vulnerable to AI than OnlyFans (respect the intercaps).

I just finished watching How Eastwood's "Unforgiven" Shreds the Western Playbook. Best Western ever IMHO (2nd place to The Sisters Brothers). Interesting historical backgrounder, I'll be looking through his channel, Reel History.

I'd like to see a Western set in Oregon City in the 1890s when AC power from Oregon Falls predated Tesla's plant at Niagara Falls. I'd add an anachronistic element -- a water powered municipal elevator from 1915 for the climatic third-act struggle.

The elevator opened to the public in 1915, delayed by politics. The original elevator was water-powered and took three minutes for the ride. The elevator took three years to build and was constructed out of wood and steel.[7] In the event that the elevator stopped working during the ride, passengers would have to exit through a trap door that had a narrow ladder where the passengers would climb down to safety.[8] Located at the top of the elevator was a catwalk that extended 35 feet (11 m) stretching across and connecting the elevator to the cliffside.

Most everyone in the sex industry should get their resume in order. AI will replace producers, camera operators, performers, set locations... everything. Technology always gets applied in that marketplace first.

I've mentioned it before, but what was once unlawful to film, distribute, or view will become lawful when generated by AI. As unsavory as that sounds, there might be a corresponding drop in illicit behavior as a result. After all, the legal content is causing a decline in the frequency of consenting encounters in the real world.

This again is my main argument that any prediction about population growth rates 50 years into the future is very wrong.

George Hotz is working on the solution. I wouldn't bet against Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, or George Hotz.

George is a tech-optimist, as I imagine most people motivated to create incredible things are.

On a huge tangent, I recently spent the weekend with (among others) the youngest brother of the guy who used AI to create The Kamala parody video. It's the video that prompted the governor of Kalifornia to ban AI parody videos (including ones clearly labeled parody, apparently). It was that brother who gave him the idea for the AI parody video, among others.

Back to posts #743 and #745, I happened to re-listen to George Hotz last night who says that the danger of AI isn't its misalignment with humanity accidentally paperclipping the world, it's tool-wielding humans who are misaligned.

He posits that the only way the world gets paperclipped is allowing a single AI safety board to consolidate authority over AI rules. The way to avoid paperclipping is to democratize AI to distribute its strengths across the population (a 2nd-A sort of argument).

His TinyBox is engineered to perform to the normal constraints consumers have. It has to run from a standard wall outlet, and not raise suspicion from anyone monitoring power consumption. It's meant to run without assembling anything or major configuration.

SA today mentioned that AI generated entertainment would not be illegal, regardless of how disgusting the content is.
