I just did a search for duckduckgo.com/?q=largest+handheld+flashlight&ia=web. I saw figures of 100, 120 and 200 thousand and picked the middle number.
edit: The situation in New Jersey reminds me of the London Blitz or the Battle of Los Angleles. Instead of counter-drones or fancy auto-tracking ground units, an anarchistic neighborhood with a half dozen flashlights could triangulate anything in the sky, giving clearer identification, size and altitude information.

I'm assuming AI is required to track smaller drones to differentiate them from birds. If it hovers, or changes direction quickly, or does other things not consistent with bird movement, put a blip on the screen.

Simpler than that: hobby radio now has a feedback function to tbe transmitter: about 1/10th watt. Won't work for inertial computer guidance stand alone, but 50 - 100 watts focused will fubar the controls of hobby equipment and the neighborhood web stuff. Destroys the signal to noise ratio.
Computer self guided does require GPS, so a transmission in that band fubars the GPS. Even some harmonic will suffice
Really experienced with having my hobby stuff shot down by random radio interference , not even in the same band.

Episode 2693?t=195 -- Remove the Sulphur from diesel fuel and it increases Anthropogenic Climate Meddling. If he cited his sources, this could go in the Climate Change thread.

I've been complaining about that for over a decade now with regard to highway diesel. They reduced the energy content, reduced the lubricity of the fuel so that lubricants must be added back to protect the fuel system, and made fuel cost more; for what? Acid rain isn't a problem here. I don't know a single person, who knows a person, who knows a person, that died of acid rain.
Then geniuses do the same thing to ships that burn their fuel away from everyone and everything, for what; to make global temperatures increase?
Maybe someone will invent a jet that runs on the discarded sulfur/oil mixture at high altitudes to introduce the particulates back into the air.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stratospheric_aerosol_injection#Materials
Quote:
Various forms of sulfur were proposed as the injected substance, as this is in part how volcanic eruptions cool the planet.[6] Precursor gases such as sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide have been considered... Materials such as photophoretic particles, metal oxides (as in Welsbach seeding, and titanium dioxide), and diamond are also under consideration.

My understanding is informed by Erich von Däniken. The proper particulate matter is Gold. But the people who have cornered the supply are too attached to it to give it up.

Do solar sails work in only 1 direction? I assume so, otherwise we could have a reflective and absorptive substance that can maintain its orbit around the Earth.
I've been listening to Joe podcasts and went through the Triggernometry guys, Elon, and now Brian Cox. Brian quoted Bezos as saying "I want to zone Earth residential".
I just can't get into the news of the day, and specifically drones. Time will either reveal that mystery or it won't. What have we learned about China balloons other than they were made in China?
Here's my fundamental disagreement with the anti-humanists- that their argument is that Earth is best when humanity is least capable/willing to impact it. As a humanist, I find the earth is "best" (a human only concept) when we impact it to server our needs and desires.

If you care, AI is now embedded in whatever current android phone system. I now have a popup in my Opera browser that defaults to Google AI when I attempt a search along with splashy full screen that you have to scroll through AND IT DOESNT DELETE.
