Speaking of cold, did Simpson's Land receive any snow last week?

The kids in the neighborhood took advantage of 2 snow days on the hill in the park.

My elderly neighbor shoveled my driveway after assuring him that it's entirely unnecessary. Blessed to have overly neighborly neighbors, and he might hold a similar opinion.

You're probably asking me. We had about an inch, but patches survived two days of rain.

I listened this morning, but none of it stuck, so much has happened since

• They've finished the third rebuilding of the Columbia River Jetties.

The rocks they used weight 40 tons, same as the stones in the Great Pyramid of Cheops; but 1/6th the number. Watch a custom machine dry lay a stone wall at that scale.

My bucket list includes purchasing an excavator (with bucket and thumb). Step two would be figuring out what to do with it, and step 3 is profit.

I found the SA episode today (2756) more interesting than other recent ones, mostly due to his reframing of which personality types lean toward tragic fiction vs which lean toward triumphant non-fiction. Starts at about the 34min mark. His framing seems to line up with my observation of people.

I'm not the type to become a fanboy of anyone, but I find it interesting to see how SA went from liking Trump, to disliking Trump (stating he would not vote for him), to becoming enamored with him.

I wonder what news will talk about once Trump is gone?
