Did I do that right?

Whatifalthist defends Winston Churchill: Was Churchill a Villain?; I'd heard the argument against Churchill on the Joe Rogan podcast and this seems to be a through counter-claim.

The gist of it seems to be from the text wall at 37:15 to the text wall at 45:16.

What was really surprising was the text wall at 47:46 has a quote from Adolph [that guy] which ends with "All that's left is to prove that in nature there is no frontier between the organic and inorganic". Compare and contrast with the Transhumanist and Artificial Intelligence agendas.

Churchill needs no defense because there is no worthy adversary worth the few seconds of time needed to defeat them.

I'm not aware of any coherent arguments that the Third Reich could have been defeated by appeasement. I suppose the events and conditions following WWI caused WWII, but then everything prior always contributes to everything that proceeds forth.

People who judge the morality of historic figures who lived in a different moral time period, by their own moral time and place are simply imbeciles unworthy of needing to contend with.

... I still haven't finished the hit piece on Rudyard.

My current fascination is with the Nuraghi proto-castles complete with crellelations and machicolations 2000 years before the Middle Ages, in Sardinia..Three thousand down to two thousand years ago.

Also did I mention this year in Roman Numerals is MMXXV?

Tomorrow is the 250th anniversary of Lexington and Concord. The British 'Brown Bettys' had an effective range of 50 yards. The Kentucky long rifles, with rifling and conical boolets had a range of 500 yards. "But there were no assault rifles in 1775!"

All weapons are meant to kill, and sport versions of weapons are meant to mimic the purpose of killing (and sports are a very abstracted mimicry of war). Every weapon is an assault weapon by definition. When an inmate files down a scrap of metal into a shiv, they have produced an assault weapon. The color of said assault weapon has no bearing on the fact that it's a weapon capable of being utilized for an assault.

I finished the hit piece on Rudyard and it was as disturbing as expected from any intelligent teen wrestling with an existential crisis combined with family turmoil. When people delete things, it's either because they wish to conceal an ulterior motive they accidentally shared, or because they no longer identify with that thing.

A person that found stability amongst chaos is more credible than the critic who has found nothing.

I'd say around half are defensive; but the narrow definition being used currently (the slot between a battle rifle and a short-barreled rifle) is falsified. It was a clear tactical advantage, not a few percent tax on tea that sparked everything off that came since.

I use the historic definition of assault, which includes the defensive use of something. If someone's attacking, then you've got to meet the adversary with an assault.

The primitive US had an identity apart from their prior identity, bolstered by superior ideas, and the homefield advantage. I expect the US to be supplanted by superior ideas\adaptation, but not yet. I also expect the successor to build upon the mighty ideals that made the US the powerhouse that it is, similar to how the US adopted/adapted the mighty ideas of England.

Did you notice that, while female NASA astronauts wash their hair so it stands out electrostatically, the blue jumpsuited millionairesses couldn't be bothered? No shampoo commercial coming out of that joy ride.

edit:
BTW, what do you think about ShoeOnHead? IIRC June Lapine and Greg Fluhrer (Armoured Skeptic) were on Youtube years ago podcasting from West Eugene.

Andrew Klavan says that when male endeavors are inundated by females, it signals the end of that frontier. I hope not in this case, but it does make one wonder what the point of the biological payload is. The only gal I recognized is Katy Perry.

I'll have to listen to this and comment later.

I didn't even recognize Katy Perry. When she exited the 'wireless gondola' there was either big lighting reflectors or an applied filter, the lighting was too even for daylight in the desert.

Was that a real flower, with all it's petals after a ride to space?

What's interesting to me is to compare ShoeOnHead's and Armoured Skeptic's political stances, with her on the right and him on the left. But apparently they're still a couple. I've been dumped over much less.
