What are you going to do for floorboards?
Duckboards like a Schwimmwagen?
Carpet over sound-deadening and rigid insulation?

And if you roll it in the dark, the reflective surface will be easy to spot.

At what point will you apply some corrosion protection to the frame?

The interior will be completely finished, floors and sides will be stick on sound deadening material, then hard backed dense fiberglass insulation, then thin plywood with carpet glued to the plywood.
I will probably clean up the frame and brush-roll on some black urethane paint, before the next welding session with my brother Thursday, with the exception of the paint which would just make welding more difficult.
I might roll some black paint over the bottom of the road signs eventually.

Welded in 50 tabs today in 4 hours working with #3 brother. Should be enough to hold the floor, sides, engine harness, radiator, and fuel tank in place. I use speed nuts 6MM with phillips head 6 MM screws. That way I can use one screwdriver to remove just about everything. In other places, Ill drill and tap 10-32 holes in the frame and use countersunk flush face hex drive screws.
Sendler, now it's time to paint the frame which I plan on starting tomorrow (Friday) if my back calms down from today. Then the floor panels can go in permanently with the screws and adhesive sealer.

Mech

The Eastwood seam sealer works pretty well over primer, though you probably have something already. I used it on the inside patches on floorboards of an old mini. Felt the same a factory seam sealer when it hardened. And it was easy to work in between the overlap with a brush.

Drilled all but 6 of the tabs, floors are completely installed except for paint, sealing and final installation. Next welding session will be the seat mounts and some more tabs for final assembly of the side panels. I painted the upper portion of the frame with a brush and rustoleum, will do the bottom before sealing and final floor panel installation.

How are you isolating the aluminum from the steel to prevent galvanic corrosion of those screws?
